Holidays in Poland are tempting Cypriots. Travel agencies are advertising Krakow and Wroclaw.

Christmas in Poland has become a popular destination for Cypriot travel agencies. Krakow and Wrocław are advertised as winter getaways full of illuminations, markets, and local flavors. Some programs also include sightseeing in Warsaw.

For Poles living on the island, a December trip home often means returning to family. Cypriot travel agencies present it from a different perspective: as an opportunity to stroll among festive stalls, explore historic towns, and sample pierogi and mulled wine.

Krakow and Wroclaw next to Vienna and Prague

In the Travel Experts by Froso ad, Polish cities appear alongside destinations like Vienna, Prague, Berlin, and Budapest. The common denominator is the Christmas markets and the atmosphere of European cities at the end of the year.

The office promotes trips to Wrocław in November and December 2026 from 350 euros per person, while to Krakow from 500 euros per person.

However, the provided graphics do not provide exact dates or the full range of services. These are advertised prices "from," so details regarding flights, hotel, luggage, and length of stay should be agreed with the organizer.

The most interesting aspect of Poland is its portrayal. Wrocław's Town Hall, Krakow's Cloth Hall, and its illuminated squares are the main reasons to travel.

Holidays in Poland also available in other agencies' offers

We also found similar proposals on the Internet. Xenos Travel included two six-day programs connecting Polish cities in the catalog of holiday trips for the 2026–2027 season.

The first one covers Wroclaw and Warsaw, with departure from Larnaca on December 14 and return on December 19. The price starts from 825 euros per person in a double room.

The second route runs through Krakow and Warsaw. The trip begins on December 13th, lasts six days, and costs from 895 euros per person in a double roomThe program includes sightseeing and time for holiday walks.

In turn, the DirectTrip platform offers Honeywell Travel: a four-day trip to Krakow from Paphos, advertised from 369 euros per personThe description lists departures on November 26, December 3, and December 10. The package includes Ryanair flights, three nights' accommodation with breakfast, and specified baggage allowance.

Poland in winter offers

Travel Experts by Froso: Wroclaw from €350 and Krakow from €500 per person. Advertised departures in November and December 2026.

Xenos Travel: Six days in Wrocław and Warsaw from €825 or in Krakow and Warsaw from €895 per person in a double room.

Honeywell Travel: Four days in Krakow departing from Paphos, offered on DirectTrip from €369 per person.

Packages vary in length of stay and scope of services. Prices quoted "from" are not a comparison of identical trips. Availability and final price must be confirmed before booking.

Pierogi, dwarves and Christmas stalls

Tour programs show what organizers consider attractive to their customers.

In Wrocław, these include colorful tenement houses, bridges, the Market Square, and the city's dwarves. The trip description also includes pierogi and hot soup served in bread.

Krakow attracts visitors with its Cloth Hall, St. Mary's Church, Wawel Castle, and walks through the historic center. Warsaw complements the trip with a tour of the capital and an evening of admiring the Christmas decorations.

These are familiar images for Polish readers. However, in the Cypriot catalog, they become a promise of a winter getaway—much like beaches and seaside promenades in offers aimed at those planning a vacation on the island.

A trip to the fair doesn't always mean Christmas

It's worth paying attention to the dates. Many offers advertised as Christmas-themed are for November or the first half of December. These are trips designed for the Christmas spirit, not necessarily stays spanning Christmas Eve and the holiday season.

Before booking, please check both the tour dates and the specific market schedule. The winter scenery in the photo also doesn't guarantee snow during your stay.

The catalogs alone don't allow us to determine how many Cypriots will choose Poland this year. However, they do show that our cities have their place among the island's winter getaways. For some, Poland will be a December homecoming, for others, their first encounter with its festive atmosphere.
