Rain and thunderstorms in Cyprus. Where could they occur on Wednesday?

Localized rainfall and isolated thunderstorms are expected in Cyprus on Wednesday, October 7th. These showers are expected to develop in the afternoon, primarily in the mountains, inland, and possibly in the southeast. Temperatures will reach around 28°C in the interior and on the coast, and 18°C in the highest mountain ranges.

The day will start out mostly sunny, but later it will become cloudy in places. Isolated showers are still possible on Thursday, mainly in the mountains. Friday and Saturday are expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures gradually rising.

This afternoon, isolated showers and thunderstorms are forecast, primarily in mountainous areas and the island's interior. They may also occur in the southeast. These showers will be localized—the forecast does not predict rain across Cyprus.

The wind will initially be light and variable, around force 3 on the Beaufort scale. It will then change to force 3-4 from the southwest and northwest. The sea will be slightly rough at most.

Thursday with possible rain, then more sunshine

Thursday, October 8th, will start off mostly sunny. However, clouds will gradually increase, which may bring isolated showers, especially in the mountains.

On Friday and Saturday, October 9-10, the weather will be mostly sunny, with periods of increased cloud cover in some areas.

In the following days, the temperature will gradually rise, approaching values typical for this time of year.
