Family match in Larnaca. We play together on Sunday.
The family match in Larnaca is this Sunday, October 25th. The Polish Women's Association Afrodyta.pl invites children and parents to a meeting at the Agios Georgios Kontos Cultural Centre from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Organizers have announced new details: final registration will take place on-site at 11:00 a.m., and the game will be led by professional coaches.
The program includes friendly competitions, family games and activities, medals, diplomas, and prizes from sponsors. Teams from Cypriot football academies have also been invited to participate.
Family Match in Larnaca - Meet us on the pitch
This is a great option for Polish families who want to spend Sundays together and actively. The focus on the field will be on friendly play and a good atmosphere. The event will also provide an opportunity to meet other families and socialize with Cypriot participants.
Organizers plan to create three or four teams based on age. Parents will be able to join in if they are interested. The final division will depend on the number of participants who show up.
Invitations have also been extended to Cypriot football academies. Their teams will likely wear their own kits. Professional coaches will oversee the competition.
Registration is at 11:00 AM. Please arrive on time.
Some participants have already registered, allowing organizers to pre-plan their groups. However, final registration will take place on-site on Sunday.
It's worth showing up at the start of the meeting. That's when you'll be able to confirm your participation and join the appropriate team.
White shirts and white and red supporters
The organizers ask that Polish children bring white T-shirts, if possible, with the Polish emblem. If they don't have them, they can wear any T-shirt. Teams will receive T-shirts with numbers.
Those interested in playing as goalkeepers may bring their own equipment, such as gloves. This does not change the nature of the event: it will be a friendly, fun-filled game.
Families can bring Polish flags and scarves. They'll be useful for cheering on the young players and creating a red-and-white atmosphere around the pitch.
Medals, fun and support for young players
In addition to football, there will be games and entertainment. There will be refreshments, prizes from sponsors, medals, and diplomas.
According to information provided by the organizers, the event will also be supported by representatives of the Polish Embassy in Nicosia. The latest graphic also announces the presence of Cypriot football stars, but does not provide any names.
You can also join the event as a fan. Parents, siblings, and friends will be able to support the players and spend Sunday morning with the Polish community. Organizers encourage entire families to participate.
