Hadassah Limassol officially opens. The center is now accepting patients.
Hadassah Limassol is preparing for its official opening on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The ceremony will be accompanied by an international conference on artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and new diagnostic and treatment methods. The facility began serving patients in July.
The center accepts private patients and offers selected consultations and services under GESY. It operates as an outpatient medical and diagnostic center, providing services such as specialist consultations, testing, and rehabilitation. It does not operate an emergency department.
Hadassah Limassol - Celebration and Conference
The official opening is intended to showcase the center to the medical community and institutional partners. This isn't the first day of patient admission: the launch was announced on July 1, 2026, and services were launched in stages.
The Future of Medicine is Here: AI, Precision Medicine and Transforming Patient Care conference will be held in St Raphael Resort & Marina HotelA ceremony was then planned at the center's headquarters.
The event is expected to be attended by specialists and healthcare professionals from Cyprus, Israel, and Greece. The program covers topics including oncology, cardiology, neurology, rehabilitation, and the use of new technologies in patient care.
Consultations, diagnostics and rehabilitation
Hadassah Limassol is located on Amathountos Avenue in Agios Tychonas, in the eastern part of the city. The facility collaborates clinically with Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem.
The outpatient nature of the center means patients can receive visits and tests without being admitted to a hospital. Services include:
- consultations with specialist doctors;
- imaging diagnostics, including magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography;
- laboratory tests;
- physiotherapy and rehabilitation;
- preventive examinations;
- documentation evaluation and second medical opinion.
Before booking, it's important to confirm the availability of a specific service, the required referral, and preparation for the examination. This applies especially to patients traveling to Limassol from other parts of the island.
Can I use GESY?
The Center provides information on the service of private patients and the implementation of selected services within GESYThis does not mean that the entire offering will be publicly financed.
When making an appointment, please ask whether a specific doctor and service is available in the system, what referral is needed, and whether there will be any additional costs.
Those choosing a private visit should discuss the cost of the consultation or examination in advance. It's also worth checking the billing policy with a private insurer if the patient intends to use their policy.
Collaboration with specialists in Jerusalem
One of the center's activities is access to knowledge and consultations related to Hadassah in Jerusalem.
In more complex cases, the facility can assist in preparing documentation for further assessment and organizing subsequent stages of care. The scope of such cooperation should be determined on an individual basis.
A second opinion does not automatically mean that you have to go to Israel. It is intended to assess the case and the options for further management. If treatment abroad is considered, the patient should receive information about the organization, costs, and financing arrangements.

In case of emergency, emergency assistance is needed
Hadassah clearly states that does not run an emergency department and does not provide emergency servicesIn a life-threatening situation, call the number 112.
Addresses and information about emergency assistance are described in our guide to hospitals in Cyprus.
For patients interested in scheduled diagnostics, the most important thing is that they don't have to wait for the October 15th ceremony. The center is already accepting applications—the scope of the service, date, and billing method must be agreed upon before the visit.
