November 11th in Cyprus is a great time to celebrate with Polish food and live music. On Wednesday, Independence Day, KOTA Greek Souvlaki in Agia Napa invites you to a gathering of Poles. The event begins at 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM, the evening will feature live music.

The invitation was extended to Poles living on the island, tourists, and their foreign friends. For the occasion, the prepared dishes included chicken soup, pork chops with potatoes and salad, and cheesecake. The full set menu costs €25 and includes a glass of honey wine at no extra charge. Organizers request reservations in advance.

November 11 in Cyprus at the common table

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at KOTA Greek Souvlaki in Agia Napa. It will be an opportunity to celebrate together, chat in Polish, and meet other people connected to the island.

The start is scheduled for 16:00 Cyprus time, but you can also join later. People working that day can therefore come to the evening part of the meeting.

You don't have to live in Cyprus permanently to participate. The organizers also welcome Polish tourists and foreign friends of participants.

Chicken soup, pork chops, and cheesecake. How much does a Polish menu cost?

The event poster lists the prices of individual dishes:

• broth - 6 euros;
• pork chop with potatoes and salad — 16 euros;
• cheesecake - 5 euros.

The full Polish set costs 25 euros. It includes all three courses plus a glass of honey wine. Ordering the same dishes separately would cost a total of €27.

The standard KOTA menu will also be available during the event. Participants can choose a Polish dinner or dishes from the restaurant's regular menu.

Live music from 7:00 PM

The musical part of the event will begin at 7:00 p.m.You can arrive early for dinner and stay the evening, or join only after your daily duties are completed.

The gathering will combine a shared meal with a social celebration. For residents, it will be an opportunity to chat and meet friends, and for tourists, it will be a chance to spend a Polish holiday with their compatriots.

The November celebrations on the island also include other events. Before Independence Day, Polish audiences will gather for a concert in Nicosia.

Independence Day also on two wheels

On the same day, the first motorcycle independence ride was announced in Nicosia. This is a separate initiative that will begin before noon.

Participants will meet at the Polish Embassy and then drive through the city. A coffee break is planned at the end.
