Akamas Jeep Safari – Discover the Wild Side of Cyprus

Head out by jeep towards the Akamas Peninsula and explore coastal landscapes, forest trails, and traditional Cypriot villages. The route takes you through Coral Bay, sea caves and a shipwreck, banana plantations, and the Avakas Gorge.

The tour also includes a stop in Latchi, where you can sample traditional homemade wine and local produce. Weather permitting, you'll also have the opportunity to swim in the sea.

Tour route

The program includes both stops and scenic drives. We stop at selected places for sightseeing or photos, and we view some of the attractions from the jeep while driving.

1. Coral Bay

   Drive through the coastal part of the region and begin exploring the west coast of Cyprus.

2. Sea caves and shipwreck

   On the route we will see a rocky coast with sea caves and a characteristic wreck off the shore.

3. Banana plantations

   We will pass through the plantations, which are a characteristic element of the landscape of this part of the island.

4. Turtle Museum

   A program item dedicated to sea turtles.

5. Avakas Gorge

   The route includes the Avakas Gorge, known for its high rock walls and natural scenery.

6. Coffee break

   A moment of rest during the journey.

7. Viewpoint

   A stop during which you will be able to admire the landscape and take souvenir photos.

8. Driving through the forest areas of Akamas

   We continue our tour through the natural landscapes of the peninsula.

9. Latchi – lunch break

   Time to rest and have a meal. Lunch is optional and not included in the price.

10. Tasting Cypriot flavors

    We will taste traditional home-made wine and local Cypriot products.

11. Traditional villages

    Drive through towns related to the history of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots.

Possibility of swimming in the sea

Weather permitting, swimming is available. If you plan to swim, please bring your swimsuit and a towel.

Price of the trip

• Adults: €55 per person.
• Children up to 12 years old: €40 per person.

Optional lunch in Latchi is not included.
