The presidential residence in Troodos will open to visitors
On Sunday, September 6, the presidential residence in Troodos will open its doors to residents and tourists for the third time. During the "Pame Troodos 3" event, visitors will not only be able to see a site of particular historical significance but also learn about local producers, artisans, and the traditions of the island's mountainous regions.

Not just a tour of the residence
"Pame Troodos" is being held for the third consecutive year. The event combines the opportunity to visit one of the Republic of Cyprus' landmarks with the promotion of mountain communities.
Local producers, craftsmen and artists will be on site presenting traditional products, flavours and handicrafts associated with the Cypriot mountain areas.
In this way, the organizers want to support small businesses and producers, promote local products and encourage residents and tourists to visit mountain towns.
Music, traditions and attractions for children
The event program will also include a cultural part.
Music is planned, traditional tsiatista, presentations of Cypriot musical instruments and activities and attractions for children.
The entire event will take place in the natural surroundings of Troodos, so the event can also be an idea for an all-day Sunday trip to the mountains.
Free buses from parking lots
Due to limited access to the presidential residence, two parking lots will be prepared.
You can leave your car:
- on Troodos Square, near the weather station,
- by Troodos Environmental Information Centre.
Buses will be running from both locations throughout the event. free buses transporting participants to the residence and back.
You must have an ID document with you.
Due to the nature of the venue, the organizers ask those planning to participate to bring ID card, passport or other official identity document.
This is intended to streamline the procedure for entering the presidential residence.
The event also has a charitable purpose.
This year's edition also retains its social character.
The event will support the activities of the nursing home. "I Eleousa" in Agros.
